Welcome to Area 48’s Delegate’s Page

Thank you for visiting.


One of the responsibilities of your Delegate is to serve as a link between the groups of Area 48
and the General Service Conference. Good communication helps ensure that every group has
the opportunity to understand, discuss, and participate in the Conference process.
This page is intended to be a resource for any A.A. member who wants to learn more about how
our Fellowship’s General Service structure works and how Area 48 participates in it. Whether
you are a new GSR, a trusted servant, or simply curious about General Service, I hope you will
find information here that is useful and encourages continued participation.

  • Monthly Delegate’s Reports summarizing Conference activities, Area events, and topics of interest to our Fellowship.
  • Delegate’s Connection presentations that can be shared with groups and districts to encourage discussion and understanding of General Service.

My goal is not simply to share information, but to encourage understanding, participation, and
informed group conscience. The General Service Conference belongs to all of us. The stronger
our communication, the stronger our ability to carry A.A.’s message to the alcoholic who still suffers.
